Microsoft unified communications (UC) solutions integrate enterprise telephony (VoIP) with existing voice and e-mail infrastructure to deliver unified, security-enhanced email, voice mail, calendaring, instant messaging, and conference solutions. Unified communications includes both Office Communications Server 2007 R2 and Exchange Server 2010.
