I have to tell you, I got to see some of the stuff we'll be showing off at the conference, and I was blown away by it. System Center Mobile Device Manager is a new product in the System Center line that provides management and VPN for Windows Mobile devices. Michael Jimenez is an Architect that works in the mobility space for MCS. Michael walked me through the features of the product, whiteboarded an overview of what the architecture of a deployment looks like, then wrapped up with a tour of his office, including the window sill museum of old smartphones.
(one minor correction needs to be made: in the video, Mike states that a single scmdm installation can support 20,000 devices. In the time since we recorded, the product team has found through testing that they actually scale to 30,000! devices)
