Want to pull the jedi mind trick on your users and make them think their applications are running locally? Well you can with RemoteApp, which allows your programs to be accessed remotely through Terminal Services and appear as if they are running on the end user's local computer. Users can run RemoteApp programs side by side with their local programs. Check out this screencast to see how.

Special note, in these screen casts you will notice that I am using Office 2003, and yes I know it is not current. I chose this based on the simple fact I did not have a volume license key for Office 2007 which is required for those applications to work on Terminal Services. For the next screen casts, can I borrow your VL key? Smiley

Good work! Looks really good...

Wouldn't it be more transparant to users if the C: and D: drives where the local drives of the local clientmachine?  But I guess there's an option to disable those server-drives?

But I have to say I love how simple it is to publish applications.

Dear RaidDawg,

Last screencast, you told us that Load Balancer should be used when we have several Terminal Servers and if we want to load balance.

You mean hardware load balancer like L4 switch?

I think L4 switch make balance between servers using just network features.

Is there any other way to load balance Teminal Servers? (e.g. CPU usage or Memory Utilization, etc.)

Thank for the screencasts - this is an excellent tool to get acquainted with these new technologies - short and focused.  As an admin this let me review the specific area I need to focus on mastering wihout having to watch an hour long webcast or sit through some other time intensive training.  Consequently as people discover and begin using this I think product adoption and correct installation will benefit greatly.

Thanks Matt - as always a great presenter, your voice is clear and your language is concise while sufficiently thorough. ++  White Paper link at end is a great bonus to script and review deployment.
