Windows Server 2008 R2 has reached it's RC (Release Candidate) milestone and those of you on MSDN and TechNet Plus can download today.  I sat down with Ward Ralston in what was supposed to be a 5 minute chat about R2 and ended up around 20 minutes.  This guy loves what he does and it shows.  Ward brings us up to speed on what is new in Windows Server 2008 R2 for us IT Pro guys and shares how his experience as an IT Pro impacts how he views the new features.

Ward,

are you planning to return OSPF in R2? According to the  beta TMG specifications, OSPF is supported.

Based on the Windows Server 2008 platform, Forefront TMG utilizes its support for OSPF and RIPv2.
