Zu den wichtigsten Anforderungen an die Sicherheit von Datenbanken gehört häufig die Verschlüsselung sensitiver Daten. In SQL Server 2008 gibt es neben den bereits in SQL Server 2005 vorhandenen Verschlüsselungsmöglichkeiten die neue Transparente Datenverschlüsselung (TDE). In diese Screencast zeigen wir, wie TDE eingerichtet wird und was bei der Sicherung und Wiederherstellung verschlüsselter Datenbanken zu beachten ist.
