BitLocker to Go, a feature native to Windows 7, extends full volume encryption to USB devices. Microsoft IT took advantage of centralized management features, such as Group Policy enforcement of BitLocker protection on removable drives. At the same time, end users are provided multiple options for access, such as a strong password, smart card, or domain user credentials.

I really like the idea of Domain user credentials for USB drive management, combined with encryption.  Its probably the only way to reasonably secure corporate data today.
