I got a chance to interview Tandy and check out the new office for Microsoft Robotics studio in downtown Seattle. We talk about the future of robotics, where it might apply in your home, in an IT environment, and what scenarios Tandy sees pushing robotics technology ahead. Also, if you hang in there to the end of the video, you’ll get to see demos of two different robots – the IRobi Q and the Wowwee Robosapien.

Great conversation about where we are going with robots. The ending is fantastic with the robot dance. Of all the records that the robot could dance to, why did the manufacturer choose "Dead or Alive - You Spin Me Round" ( like a record ) or did the robot choose it.

I can not wait to have one of the Robi's running around my house trying to find out what the kids are up to ( that they should not be ).
