Eric Lawrence, Microsoft IE security PM, gives the deep and inside technical security and privacy details on Internet Explorer 8 in this webcast with demos from the IE 8 Firestarter event.  Lots of questions were asked - hence why the session went so long!

Check out all of the IE 8 Firestarter sessions by going to the IE 8 Firestarter Tag on Edge (IT Pro related sessions) or IE 8 Firestarter Tag on Channel 9 (Dev related sessions)

IE8 looks like they have made some nice changes, but I have a feeling it still won't be enough to get me to change to using it as my primary browser. I have tried a lot of them in the past when new ones come out, but I always end up going back to FF.

Maybe it is too soon to look for demo. I have not got the software update yet. Just hope it will work with the international calling cards website of mine. Has anyone here used it to support their online businesses?

This browsing webcast should work well when the system is not too complicated. The case is quite different for my OurParents Nursing Home and Assisted Living Facility Directory website where there are many internal lines and clouds. Thank you for the discussion! Regards, Jack

Your friend must be doing something different than me. For the most part, I think IE8 is pretty decent compared to earlier versions. However, it takes so darn long to load up at first. I can literally sit and count to ten waiting for the first page to load. dress up games

I took the demo from my friend. Thanks for the clear explanation. Even though I don;t think it is suitable for my applications at Flash World Games : The #1 Flash Arcade Game Site! : Free Games, Arcade Games, Classic Arcade Games and more!, I like the presentation a lot. Best regards, Lily
