You say that this tool is a GUI front end to the powershell. Does this tool allow me to the expose the powershell command that is being executed under the hood or is that concealed from me?

In this instance, no, I don't think the Active Directory Administrative Center shows what the commands are; unlike other tools such as Exchange 2007 or the System Center applications. The point, really, is that Windows Server 2008 R2 does provide the added module containing enough Active Directory administrative PowerShell Cmdlets to do pretty much anything you could imagine with Active Directory. The Administrative Center is proof of that.

That would be nice in a future release though, showing the actual PS code.
