Edge Survey

weird.  the survey will end right away for MS employees, but I didn't see it bomb or crash IE when I answered it that way yesterday, or during testing.

i'll see if I can figure out what's up.  what OS/IE versions were you using?

I know that as of earlier today, we've had a number of people successfully complete the survey, so it's working for some.

If you guys want to retry, you should be able to delete your cookies and you'll be re-prompted to participate, otherwise I don't think we nag you again for 2 weeks.

thought I'd just pass on a few bits and pieces about the Survey results we've seen so far:

almost half the respondents were visiting Edge for the first time when they took the survey.  Probably not the best time to launch a survey was right after we released the IT Probot video (which is far and away the most viewed video we've published)

70% of respondents so far are IT Pros, 12% are developers.  33% have some software development role at work.

About half the responses came from the US.

There's also some good feedback that people took the time out to write up that I'm making my way through.  Special thanks to the person who responded "I like turtles" to every question.  I lol'd.

We're reducing the number of prompts that you'll see to participate - it was actually set a little higher than we originally intended - hopefully it will become less annoying.
