I looked at the tags and was amazed to see that there weren't any tagged PowerShell.  I figured that surely the Technet crew would be all into that by now.  Well if I can help get some media up here, let me know.  I co-host the PowerScripting Podcast with along with a fellow by the name of Jonathan Walz and I think the content is a perfect fit for this place.  We'd love to have input from you guys and if it makes sense to post the media files (audio only at present), we can consider doing that too.

If you are not yet a follower of the ways of the PowerShell, I'd love to get you all hooked on it.  Everything you do now in CMD batch files or Vbscript can be done easier in PowerShell, plus there's a whole lot more you can do you wouldn't even think of doing in Vbscript.

Some links to get you started:

Feel free to contact me directly at hal@halr9000.com or the show at powerscripting@gmail.com for more help, also #Powershell @ the Freenode IRC network, or the PoweShell Newsgroup.

I totally agree with your comments concerning PowerShell. I'm currently learning how to use and leverage PowerShell, but what I've learned thus far has been great and really helped to automate many processes that used to consume quite a bit of time. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to properly dive into PowerShell, but I can certainly say it's one of the best products to come out of Microsoft in a long itme.

hey guys, thanks for the suggestion.  There's lots of PowerShell content around TechNet already, but I'll see if I can get an interview up for you guys.
In the interim, Shawn Travers, one of the US-based IT Pro Evangelists, just posted a pretty comprehensive PowerShell getting started guide.  Check it out!

Thanks very much for the link to the guide. I can certainly see it helping me to learn PowerShell and begin really leveraging it in my network a lot quicker and more efficeently than I would be able to using standard documentation. Thanks again!

Yeah Powershell rocks too.  STILL looking for the copy of the original video from Ragnar Harper from Norway actually singing at HHH in Norway.

Closest I found was a single picture of him into the third verse with the audience already going nuts.

He hadn't even hit the chorus.

We could definitly use more information on PowerShell. It is an amazing technology, one that I have wanted for a long time. If we could get something like the Windows 2000 Scripting guide that covers powershell I have no doubt that the technology would take off.
