Tag your world with TechNet Edge | The Perimeter

We plan to have the header graphic on this site rotate through a variety of images. Sometimes we'll create the graphics and we hope that you will as well. To get started, you can download the original source image for The TechNet Edge "tag". Please be cool and don't destroy people's property, ok? Smiley

I can imagine all sorts of things you can do with it. Super impose it on photos, make t-shirts with your own slogans, add it to your blog, help us make headers for this site or even make some swag. Surprise us!

Could you explain to me the purpose of this website related to "the Hive" (www.hive.net)? It looks like the Hive didn't become the community site it was supposed to be, will this website be used instead or exist in parallel.

The Hive and TechNet Edge are quite different. The Hive is a place for Windows Enthusiasts, we hope TechNet Edge will be a place where IT Professionals will want to hang out. TechNet Edge is a part of a network of online communities created by the Microsoft Evangelism Team.

All of these our sites do have some similarities. First we like to give you a place to hang and we use a lot of media. Through social media we like to introduce you to the people behind the scenes at Microsoft, highlight what people are doing with Technology in the industryt and finally hopefully show you some new things via screencasts.

Jeff Alexander here from Microsoft Australia! G'day and welcome to Technet Edge. This is a great initiative for IT Pro's and one we have been hoping for sometime. Now we have a site similar to Channel 8, 9 and 10 but especially for IT Pro's.
