The coolest swag | The Perimeter

What's the coolest and/or funniest swag you've ever gotten? i.e. Flying monkeys?

Microsoft and many other companies alway seem to give out lots of swag, but is there any swag which is actually cool and doesn't go in the trash a day or week after you get it? Personally, I have some stuff in my office like a rubic's cube and some stress balls, but I wouldn't call those cool, funny, or worth keeping... We had a swag competition at TechEd US where we got tons of it. I was curious to see how many different pens I could get and managed to quickly get about 40 and then stopped - yippeee!

I've never looked at swag that way.
To walk away with collectables has always seemed "trashy" to me.

I have to admit, if I could make it to PDC this year I would indeed like to walk away with the Microsoft handouts. Big Smile

I've never had much luck with freebies from events etc...I remember getting a poor quality neck cushion from Symantec which was, for many years, my highlight! That changed @ WPC 2008 though...as expected I got a plethora of pens of which one was truly awesome..it looks like a spaceship and has this cool retracting outer shell that folds around the actual pen Smiley

I also got a copy of WHS and Office Ultimate which were pretty cool too..

I have to echo the above comment though...I'd love to get hold of one of the PDC hard drives!!
