Ich habe jetzt parallel die komplette Office Suite 2010 im Einsatz. Von einigen kleineren Bugs einmal abgesehen läuft die Version sehr stabil. Insbesondere die Anpassung des Outlook Release gefällt mir dabei sehr gut. Die Zusammenfassung verschiedener Mitteilungen zu einer Unterhaltung ist der richtige Weg. Die Feinsortierung könnte noch besser sein, aber ich denke, dass wird sich noch geben. Mir ist bisher aufgefallen, das Outlook hier Schwierigkeiten hat, sobal die Chronologie unterbrochen wird und wenn unterschiedliche E-Mails mit einem identischen Betreff eingehen. Wobei die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass verschiedene Themen exakt den gleichen Betreff-Wortlaut haben, meines Erachtens sehr gering ist. Ich denke, alles in allem ist dieses Release auf dem richtigen Weg.

But as with every how to, my environment is always a little different.

I have a Qlogic FiberChannel HBAs on my Dell 1955 Blade Servers.

With a Hitachi AMS500 array. (I hope this will work, anyone tried?)

In your presentation you go over turning on and configuring iSCSI.

I am frustratingly new to working by command line.

and I noticed your 'iscsicpl' command is not listed in the standard help.

I then tried fib<tab> hba<tab> etc with no luck... (hey, I'm allowed to try)

please point me in the right direction!

I'm excited to test and deploy Hyper-V R2!

I am glad this feature has been introduced to VPC/HyperV. Vmware has been cruising with this feature. Also this is an excellent video.

Windows XP mode for Windows 7

One of the many disadvantages of Vista was the fact that hardware that worked under XP was simply not supported under Vista. No-one in their right mind is simply going to junk expensive hardware that still works: this is one of the main reasons why Vista was so unpopular. The idea of accessing XP-based peripherals under Windows7 is excellent. Then one discovers that to make it work you need a chip that can support virtual PC. This time any PC without the right chip has to be junked. No university department (apart from Computer Science), no small business and no self-employed writer or consultant is goint to do this. I suggest that Microsoft programmers go back to the drawing board if they want to sell their software, which is otherwise far more user-friendly than Vista. Give end users access to XP-based peripherals without having to invest in the latest Intel chip sets, otherwise I predict that end-users will stick with XP or even downgrade from Vista to XP.
